Welcome to Twenty Bakehouse! By accessing or using our website (www.twentybakehouse.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before placing an order or using our services.

1. General Terms

  • By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.
  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Orders & Payments

  • All cakes are made to order, and full payment is required to confirm the order.

3. Custom Cakes & Designs

  • We do our best to match cake designs as requested, but slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of our products. Pictures will be used as reference only, cakes will not turn out exactly as reference pictures.
  • Customers must provide all design details at the time of ordering. Late or last-minute changes will not be accommodated.

4. Delivery & Pickup

  • We offer delivery within Klang Valley based on availability. Additional fees apply depending on distance.
  • Customers must provide accurate delivery details. We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect information.
  • Once a cake is delivered or picked up, we are not responsible for damages due to improper handling or storage.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • 50% refund (in-store credits) will be issued if the cake is cancelled 1 month before the date is due.
  • There will be no refund for cancellation notice less than 1 month of delivery/ pickup.
  • All refunds are in the form of in-store credit to be used at a future date. There will be no cash refunds.
  • Refunds are only issued for issues caused by our error or damage during delivery (with valid proof provided immediately upon receipt).
  • We do not offer refunds for
    • Change of mind after the order has been placed.
    • Incorrect details provided by the customer (e.g., wrong date, address, or design specifications).
    • Mishandling by customer once cake has been delivered/ picked up.
    • Minor variations in design, as all cakes are handcrafted and may differ from reference images.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content, including images, logos, and text on this website, is the property of Twenty Bakehouse and may not be used without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website, products, or services.
  • All cakes are made in premises in which nuts are used, every effort is taken to keep the ingredients separate, however, cakes may contain traces of nuts.
  • Cakes may contain allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, and eggs. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of allergies before ordering.

8. Handling and Transporting Cakes

  • Some figurines and decorations contain wire or toothpicks which are dangerous if consumed. Please do not use our cakes as smash cakes before confirming with us that there are no support structures placed in the cake.
  • Place cake box on a flat surface (car floor is best) and ensure cake box is not slanting.
  • Always ensure the aircond in the car is on and never leave cakes in the car with the engine and aircond off.
  • Always carry the cake box from the base and never from the sides.
  • We do not recommend someone holding the cake on their lap as this warms up the cake and buttercream.
  • Take out the cake 30-40mins from the fridge before serving, and leave in a cool aircond room in the cake box.
  • Leftover cake can be store in an airtight container and best eaten within a week.

9. Photographs

  • Twenty Bakehouse reserved the right to take and use photographs of your cakes and desserts; before, during and after set up, for marketing, advertising and promotional purposes, without compensation to you.
